DisruptCRE, the national technology and commercial real estate conference series, hosted its 5th Annual DisruptCRE New York conference.
The event brought together the most innovative professionals and entrepreneurs in commercial real estate, providing an afternoon event with topics ranging from data collection and analysis; cybersecurity; smart building; and how to unlock value.
This year’s DisruptCRE was sponsored by The Moinian Group’s Currency M and hosted at Sky, Moinian’s 71-story, 1,175-unit luxury residential tower at 605 West 42nd along Manhattan’s the Far West Side. Currency M is a tech-enabled and real estate related venture arm that provides early-stage companies the access, guidance and distribution that empowers world-class entrepreneurs to build, grow, and scale their businesses.
The line-up of all-star panels included The Future of Living & Staying, which explored the intersection of multi-family and hospitality and how new technology is making way for new resident expectations; while Data: The New CRE Currency examined how building data, tenant data, and construction data have forever changed the commercial real estate industry.
The CRE Cybersecurity panel featured prominent commercial real estate owners, developers, and operators who discussed the current challenges and technology solutions that are helping landlords secure their property and mitigate risk; while the Workplace as a Service (Waas) session explored risk volatility for office owners in this burgeoning sector.
